Growing up, I would always play pretend with my best friend. We would come up with these different stories and would dive deep into the characters we were playing. I had an aspiration to do something big with my life; At the time, it was to become an actress. While I knew that I wasn’t going to become some big named actress, I still knew that I had to follow my passion for creativity. It wasn’t until I took a class in high school where I realized most of my talents lie in filmmaking. Everything just clicked for me, and here I am now pursuing the film industry!

My main passion lies in editing. As someone who is very detail-oriented, editing allows me to become super knit picky and try to make the project as perfect as possible. As well, I love being able to bring a whole story together and see it come to life. There is so much power in editing and I love being able to turn some shots into a sequence that moves people. I have been editing now since 2016, mainly in Adobe’s Premiere Pro. This past year or two, I have been dipping my toes into color grading as well.

Besides editing, I still have a huge passion for video production. I thrive on sets and enjoy getting to collaborate with others. It is so important to bring positive, creative energy and I like to make sure everyone is confident in themselves. I love to bring visions to life and to be of help in any way I can. Storytelling is what I feel like I’m meant to do!

Recently graduating from UCCS with a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Filmmaking, I am ready to go out and share my creativity with others.
